Another mass shooting took place during the Biden administration. A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after being injured along with six others at an Instagram party. The teenage suspect has yet to be apprehended. There were reportedly over 50 shots fired into the audience.

Chaos broke out around 3:25 a.m. on the 1100 block of West Cumberland Street when a gunman fired over 50 shots into the crowd. The shooting occurred after an altercation at an “Instagram” party. A total of seven victims were shot. This included a 16-year-old girl who suffered a critical chest wound.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that the shooter returned to the gathering and continued firing, later pursuing some individuals to a nearby residence on North Jessup Street. A seventh victim was discovered at North 22nd and West Susquehanna with a back injury.

Suspect Description and Police Involvement

The Philadelphia Police Department discovered a weapon and several shell casings at the scene. According to surveillance footage, the suspect is a male dressed entirely in black, who is believed to be a juvenile. Authorities are actively seeking additional information and have requested help from the public, providing contact numbers for tips.

  1. Why am I NOT surprised that a young black man opened fire on a group of people? The gun is probably acquired illegally. The young man has mental problems and probably drug problems. I hope I’m wrong, but the statistics are on my side. He will plead not guilty and his court appointed attorney will plead that this is a poor young man society forgot. No father, school dropout, single parent upbringing. This combination of facts is supposed to give him a license to kill. Society is pretty far gone when this series of events occurs weekly and no one is surprised.
