The website displayed a fake phone number listed as (123) 456-7890 and directed donations to a post office box later changed to a UPS Store address in Nashville. A small disclaimer buried on the site acknowledged the PAC was not affiliated with Harris’s presidential campaign, yet her name remained prominently featured throughout fundraising appeals.
Federal Investigation and Missing Reports
The FBI began questioning Tennessee Democrat political sources about the PAC in early 2026, according to multiple insiders cited by the Nashville Banner. The investigation reportedly extends beyond the PAC to examine the representative’s personal business ventures, though specific details remain unverified. The PAC failed to file required Federal Election Commission reports on schedule, receiving three separate delinquency letters between October 2024 and January 2025. The representative filed reports only in late March 2026, after the federal investigation commenced.
Minimal Fundraising, Questionable Spending
Recent filings show the PAC raised just $1,850 total. The committee reported only three expenditures: $204 to a Memphis fried fish restaurant for hosting a debate watch party, $472 to a liquor store for party supplies on the same date, and a $574 reimbursement to the representative for web services related to the PAC. Notably, no expenditure or in-kind contribution appears in records for the actual debate watch party venue. The FBI declined to comment on the investigation, consistent with agency policy of not confirming or denying active criminal probes except in exceptional circumstances requiring public input.
