Rudy Giuliani HOSPITALIZED—Trump Calls It ‘Tragedy’…

Rudy Giuliani, 81, remains in critical but stable condition at a Florida hospital. The former New York City mayor and Trump attorney faces serious health challenges months after a devastating car accident left him with multiple injuries including a fractured spine.

Trump Issues Statement on ‘America’s Mayor’

President Trump released a statement calling Giuliani “the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR” and criticizing how Democrats treated him. Trump emphasized that Giuliani “was right about everything” regarding election fraud claims and stories that emerged during his legal work. Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s advisor, confirmed the hospitalization but provided no details about the specific medical emergency that brought Giuliani to the hospital.

September Car Crash Left Lasting Damage

The hospitalization follows a September 2025 car accident in New Hampshire that severely injured Giuliani. Before the crash, he stopped to help a domestic violence victim and contacted police. While driving afterward, his vehicle was struck from behind at highway speed. The collision left him with a broken thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations and contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Michael Ragusa, Giuliani’s head of security, disclosed these details last year.

Legal Career and Public Service

Giuliani built his reputation as a federal prosecutor in New York during the 1980s, successfully prosecuting organized crime cases that dismantled mob operations. He later served as New York City mayor and became known as “America’s Mayor” for his leadership following the September 11 attacks. More recently, he served as President Trump’s personal attorney during investigations and legal challenges. Goodman asked supporters to join in prayer for Giuliani’s recovery, describing him as “a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength.”
